Attention!
Connect the appliance to a nearby, easily accessible mains socket so that it
can be quickly disconnected in the event of an emergency.
7.2 Turning the appliance on/off
• To turn the appliance ON, connect it to an AC mains with power supply
specifications matching those stated on the appliance’s label. The socket
must be equipped with a protective grounding pin
• To turn the appliance OFF, disconnect it from an AC mains with power
supply specifications matching those stated on the appliance’s label. It is
recommended that the knob be set to “ 0 ” before disconnecting the plug.
7.3 Making waffles
Close the lid very carefully to avoid clamping your fingers.
Before turning the appliance on, place it on a flat, solid surface resistant to
high temperatures.
1. Before first use, wipe the inner surfaces of the appliance with a moistened cloth or
sponge, then wipe dry with a paper towel. Lubricate these surfaces lightly with butter,
margarine or vegetable oil.
2. You may prepare batter according to various recipes, modifying ingredients or their
ratios as desired. For optimal effect, use the following recipe:
INGREDIENTS PREPARATION
3 eggs
Vanilla sugar – ½ tsp
Baking powder – 1 tsp
Sugar – 125 g
Vegetable oil – 100 ml
Flour – 250 g
Milk – 150 ml
Carbonated water – 50 ml
-Sieve the dry ingredients into a
bowl
-Add eggs, oil, milk and water
-Mix with a blender until the
ingredients are fully blended
-Leave the batter for 15 minutes
until it is ready for baking
3. After connecting the plug to the AC mains socket, both indicators (red and green) will
light up. If the power setting knob is in the “ 0 ” position only the red indicator will light
up. The green indicator will light up as well only after the knob is turned to a position
other than “ 0 ”.
4. Close the top lid to accelerate the heating process.
