Warning! Before performing cleaning and maintenance operations, turn
the device off, disconnect it from the power source and let it cool down,
so as to avoid burns and electric shock.
8.1 Basic principles
Correct and regular cleaning will improve the safety and extend the life span of
the device.
• Always empty the water tank when you have finished working.
• Wipe the device with a slightly damp cloth, then wipe it dry.
• Wash the tip with running water and leave to dry.
8.2 Descaling
• Steam power will degrade with time and frequency of use. When this happens,
the device should be descaled.
• Use the commercially available descaling agents based on citric acid. Follow
the instructions provided by the manufacturer/importer of the agent.
Attention!
Never immerse the plug, the power cord or the device in water or other liquids.
After finishing work and prior to opening the water filler plug, wait for the device
to cool down.
8. CLEANING AND CARE
Clean the device in accordance with the instructions and leave it to dry
completely. It is recommended that the device be stored in its original
packaging.
The device does not contain any user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt to repair the
device on your own. Always have a specialist perform repairs.
If the power cord is damaged, it has to be replaced with an identical one by the
manufacturer, service or a qualified person.

10. STORAGE AND TRANSPORT
Do not aim the steam stream at unprotected wooden surfaces, unsuitable
grouts, cold glass or plastics.
The device can operate as long as there is water in the tank. When the tank
is empty, disconnect the device from the mains, wait for it to cool down,
refill water in the tank and continue working.
