• Remove the batteries before cleaning the device.
• Wipe the device using a cloth moistened with a solution of water and detergent,
then wipe dry.
• Do not use any corrosive cleaning agents.
• Protect the scale against penetration by water or other liquids.
• Never immerse the device in water or other liquids.
8. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
7.5 Taring
After turning the scale on, you can tare it to obtain the net weight of your product
without packaging. In order to do this, weigh an empty package/vessel (e.g. jar),
press the
ON/OFF/TARE button, wait until the displays reads 0 , then weigh your
product placed in an identical package/vessel (e.g. jar with grain inside).

Displayed when the maximum capacity of 5 kg
(5000 g) is exceeded.
Battery is low. Replace the batteries promptly.
9. REPAIR
The device contains no user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt to repair it on your
own. Always have the device repaired by a professional.
Clean the device according to the instructions.
Keep it in a dry, well-ventilated location inaccessible to children.
Protect the device from vibration and shock during transport.

All the packaging materials are fully recyclable and are labelled as such. Dispose of
the packaging in accordance with local regulations.
Keep the packaging materials out of children’s reach, as these materials can pose a
hazard.
