12. DISPOSAL OF WASTE EQUIPMENT
This symbol means that the product must not be disposed of
with other household waste. Polish law prohibits discarding waste
electrical and electronic equipment with other types of waste
under penalty of a fine. It is possible to prevent potential negative
consequences for the environment and human health, which could
otherwise arise from inappropriate handling of waste electronic
equipment, if the product is disposed of properly.
Disposal of single-use and rechargeable batteries.
Used, fully discharged batteries and rechargeable batteries must be
disposed of in specially marked containers, taken to special waste
collection points or to electrical equipment retailers.
13. SYMBOLS
This symbol indicates that the user manual is included in the
product packaging and must be read before use.
The “Green Dot” symbol located on the packaging means that
the importer made financial contributions to the construction
and operation of the national recovery and recycling system for
packaging waste, in accordance with the principles resulting from
the laws of Poland and the European Union concerning packaging
and packaging waste.
This product meets the requirements of Directive 2011/65/EU, also
referred to as RoHS. The purpose of this directive is approximation
of the Laws of the Member States on the restriction of the use
of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic
equipment with a view to contributing to the protection of human
health and the environment, including the environmentally sound
recovery and disposal of waste EEE.
The RoHS Directive is effective from 3 January 2013. New
electrical and electronic equipment that is placed on the market
does not contain lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium,
polybrominated biphenyl or polybrominated diphenyl ether.
