- When using two or more cooking bowls separated by fixing rims, place slower-cooking
food in the lowermost bowl and start cooking. Then place faster-cooking foods in
containers which are placed above. In this way all the food will be ready at the same time.
- Place meat, fish and poultry in the lowermost bowl in the steamer to avoid odour and
dripping raw juice.
- Rice is best cooked in the lower bowl. If you cook rice with meat, fish or poultry with
different cooking times, add a second bowl and place the rice on the bottom.
- The upper tray with a lid allows for cooking corn, potatoes and other dishes that do not
produce juice.
- Steam can be also used for sterilising bottles, towels and tableware. Sterilisation time is
generally 15-30 minutes. To achieve better results, we recommend leaving room for steam
on the left and right sides.
- After each use, part of the juice from food remains in the bowl. In order not to let the juice
taste pass through to another dish, always carefully pour the water out of the bowl before
the next use..
9. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Warning! Before cleaning, disconnect the appliance from the power supply and wait until it
completely cools down.
Soak the top cover, steam trays, fluid tank and central housings in warm water with
a detergent and then start washing. Dry thoroughly after washing.
Cleaning the heating element: use mild cleaning materials, otherwise the surface of the
appliance will lose its colour. Follow these rules:
a. Remove all parts which are above the heating element.
b. Pour water and vinegar solution (5% vinegar) up to the maximum level (MAX).
c. Connect the appliance to the power supply and set the timer to 20 minutes.
d. Do not allow the fluid to spill out of the heating element.
e. After you hear a beep and the control indicator goes out, disconnect the appliance from
the power supply. Pour the water and vinegar solution out, and then rinse the surface of
the heating element.
Do not immerse the base of the heating element in water. Do not wash it in a dishwasher.
Warning! Do not clean the steamer with bleach powder.
STORAGE
When not in use, unplug the appliance and store it in a safe, dry place, out of reach of
children. It is recommended that you store the device in its original packaging.
