Battery installation / replacement
1. To install / replace the battery, open the battery
compartment by u nscrewing it.
Caution! When u nscrewing the battery compartment,
the device will t u rn on. Keep twisting the device
u ntil the battery compartment cover is completely
u nscrewed.
2. Remove spent batteries (if any ) .
3. Insert a new 1.5 V AA battery.
4. Replace the battery cover and screw it in.
5. T u rn on the device.

• Caution!
• By design, the device must be powered by a 1.5 V
AA battery .
• The battery is supplied with the product set.
•
When installing a new battery, observe the
polarity marking inside the battery compartment.
• Use only the recommended type of battery: 1.5 V
AA.
• Do not dispose of old batteries with domestic waste.
