9.CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
CLEANING OF THE RIGID PARTS OF THE APPLIANCE

Cleaning should only be carried out when the device is switched off and cooled down,
the mains plug is disconnected from the mains socket.
The device may only be cleaned with a dry cloth or paper towel. It is forbidden to use
water or any other liquids to clean the device.
It is forbidden to use clean the filter and re-use it. When the filter is damaged or worn our
it has to be replaced with a new one (free from defects).
10. PROBLEMS
If you have any problems with your device, please refer to the following tips.
I cannot switch the
device on
Check the correct connection to the power supply.
Check whether the electrical outlet is damaged - select another
one.
The device
switches on but
does not work.
Check whether the power LED is blinking, which may suggest
that the filter needs to be replaced.
Poor filtering
efficiency
Check the dirt level of the filter.
Check that the inlet or outlet openings are not covered.
Check that something has not entered the unit and is not
disrupting the fan.
There are
disturbing noises
coming out of the
unit

Make sure the device has not fallen over.
Select a lower operating mode than the one currently selected
- the fan noise should decrease.
There is an
unpleasant odour
coming out of the
device
The first time you start the machine, you may notice a smell
that will disappear after a few minutes of operation.
f the smell emitted from the appliance resembles the smell of
burning plastic, immediately disconnect the appliance from the
power supply and set it aside in a place where it will not cause
damage if ignited. Do not plug in the device again and contact
the manufacturer’s service department immediately.
If the filter is heavily soiled or the unit has been used in a room
with strong odours or humidity, it can cause unpleasant odo-
urs. If the odour persists after a few minutes of operation, it is
recommended to replace the filter with new one.

Reset the system by pressing and holding the power button on
the unit when it is connected to the mains for 7 seconds.
If the problem persists, contact the manufacturer’s service department.
