b) Cleaning the water tank
Attention! Always empty the water tank when you are
not using the device.
1. Disconnect the device from the power source.
2. Lift the water tank lid.
3. Pour out the water.
4. Wipe the water tank inside with a cloth or a small
towel.
8.2 Descaling
Hard water can result in scale deposits in the device,
particularly in the base tank, and around the ultrasonic
transducer.
Scale forms as white deposit. The device must be
descaled regularly.
1. Spray the places covered with scale with descaling
agent – in particular the base tank and around the
ultrasonic transducer.
2. Leave for 2 to 5 minutes.
3. Clean the descaling residues from the device using a
damp cloth.
4. Rinse the base tank twice with clean fresh water.
5. Wipe dry.
