• Children may clean and maintain the appliance
under adult supervision only.
• Operate the appliance with caution. Unplug the
power cord before opening and/or removing
the fan head shroud, cleaning or maintaining
the appliance.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its authorised
technical service or a qualified professional
to avoid life and health hazards.
1. Before attempting to operate the appliance, unwind and straighten the entire power cord.
2. Regularly inspect the power cord and the plug for potential damage.
3. Do not use the appliance if it is damaged or does not work properly.
4. Do not use the appliance if it has fallen from a height and shows visible damage.
5. Do not attempt to open the appliance housing or disassemble any of its parts. The
appliance does not contain any serviceable parts.
6. Do not leave the appliance unattended while plugged into a power supply outlet.
7. Do not leave the power cord hanging over sharp edges.
8. Caution! Do not wind the power cord around the appliance!
9. If the appliance is immersed in water or otherwise flooded, immediately unplug the power
cord from the mains.
10. Do not pull, tug or handle the appliance by its power cord. Do not use the power cord as
a handle. Do not shut the doors and pinch the power cable, and do not slide the power
cord over sharp edges.
11. Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces.
12. Do not plug the power cord to the mains before assembling the appliance completely.
13. Always place the floor fan base on a sound, level and smooth surface.
14. Keep children away while assembling the appliance.
15. Store and disassemble away from fire.
* Do not operate the stand fan without its grill shroud or with the grill shroud damaged.
