For most side imaging
transducers, we recommend
using the mounting bracket
included with your fish finder
as a drill template for creating
mounting holes in the Guardian
plate.

Some side imaging
transducers, like the
Lowrance TripleShot , will mount
through the bottom of the
transducer guard and to the
post on the inside of the
Guardian plate. For these units,
refer to the Skimmer Style
Transducer Installation. If the
transducer is not sitting flush
with the shield, 2 small holes
(one on each side of the
transducer) can be drilled and
a zip tie used to secure the
transducer to the shield.
