Discharging is typically used to determine the residual capacity of the battery
or to lower the voltage of the battery to a defined level. When you discharge
the battery you should take as much care as when you charge it. To avoid
the battery becoming deep-discharged, program the final discharge voltage
correctly as described in the Recommended Safe Charging-Discharging
Values chart above.
