3. Use150-200grit sandpaper to roughen the outer surface of the torque

rod bearing Slide the bearing toward the threaded end of the torque

rod and put a small amount of petroleum jelly around the ends of the

bearing tube to prevent epoxy from seeping in Spread some epoxy in
the slot and on the leading edge of the center trailing edge pieces Do

not apply any epoxy within 1 /4" of the notch or you may glue the torque
rod Insert the torque rods into the slots with the threaded portions

sticking out through the notches and position the center trailing edges
against the wing sub trailing edge Align the center trailing edges and

pin or tape them in place while the glue cures.
