Possible
sources

interference

transmitter
As
with
all
radio
receivers,
certain
limitations
may
be
affected
by
reception
and
by
transmitter
interference.
Owing
to
the
special
propagation
conditions
of
long
waves,
local
limitations
are
possible
outside
the
range
of
1000
km
around
the
transmitter.
In
praxis,
the
RC
clock
works
well
in
a
distance
of
radius
until
1500
km,
particular
of
2000
km,
too.
A
significant
negative
effect
may
be
produces
by
pronounced
attenuation
caused
by
buildings.
e.g.
metallic
building
components.
Apart
from
unsuppressed
appliances,
sources
of
interference
in
the
average
office
include
in
particular
monitors
and
possibly
unscreened
data
