When the MENU button is pressed with tapes 1 - 4 loaded, the following screens will
appear.
When the tape data memory becomes full, the following screens will appear when a
recording is made or when the timer is programmed. Press 0 while the following
screens are displayed; the screen shown in step 2 of the DELETE TAPE NO. DATA
option will appear. Perform steps 3 - 6 in this option to delete tape data.
Dubbing:
Tape Navigation does not operate with tapes on which only audio is recorded or
dubbed from a CDV (compact disc video).
Contents of data stored in memory when pause is engaged during recording:
The program number does not change even if pause is engaged during recording. If
the channel is changed after pause is instructed, the program number will change.
Tape data when a new recording is made on a recorded tape:
Example 1
If you record program D on the tape where programs A and B were recorded using
Tape Navigation for the same duration of time as program A:
In other words, Program D will over write Program A (Program A is entirely erased).
