Aero-care Vege. Compartment
Adopted a Photocatalyst Preservation function that utilizes the effect of a platinum catalyst to preserve freshness and
nutrients. Carbon dioxide suppresses the consumption of nutrients of vegetables and keeps them fresh.

Vacuum Compartment
The Vacuum Preservation at approx. 0.8 hPa suppresses oxidation and preserves freshness and nutrients.
The Photocatalyst Preservation technology, which is also adopted for the Vegetable Compartment, utilizes the
platinum catalyst to prevent a reduction in freshness.

Vacuum represents a state in which pressure is lower than the atmospheric pressure. The pressure in the Vacuum
Compartment is about 0.8 hPa, which is lower than the atmospheric pressure, so Hitachi calls it vacuum.

Energy saving & large capacity
Power consumption is reduced more thanks to various energy-saving technologies including “Frost Recycle Cooling” and others. In addition, [Energy Saving] mode is available for saving energy further.
We have devised ways of increasing the rated internal capacity by enlarging shelves, pockets and slide cases as much as possible to store more foods while using vacuum insulation to reduce the wall thickness.

節省能源的使用方法
1.
減少冰箱門的開閉,切勿時間過長
開閉次數多,冷氣向外流失,保冷效果差。
2.
切勿塞滿過多的食物
一旦塞滿過多的食物,冷氣的流通循環不良,不僅無法讓冰箱內均一冷
卻,而且還會消耗電力。存放食品時請適度地保留間隙。
3.
將熱的食物放冷之後再放入冰箱
將熱的食物放入冰箱時,冰箱內部的溫度升高,周邊食物的溫度也隨之升高。
4.
冰箱周邊應保留適當的間隙
若周邊無保留間隙時,冰箱無法散熱,而導致電力的浪費。
5.
更換受損的冰箱門墊圈
因受損後所產生的間隙可讓冷氣流失,而導致電力的浪費。將名片等夾
在其間,若因無法夾緊而滑落,請更換冰箱門的墊圈。
Tip for using the refrigerator wisely for energy savings
1. Open or close a door less frequently and quickly.
Frequent opening and closing leads to waste of energy.
2. Do not overfill the refrigerator.
Overfilling the refrigerator prevents a smooth circulation of cool air, precluding even cooling
throughout the refrigerator and consuming unnecessary power. Place food at appropriate intervals.
3. Do not place hot food in the refrigerator.
Placing hot food raises the temperature in the refrigerator, which, in turn, raises the temperature
of surrounding food.
4. Provide an appropriate gap around the refrigerator.
Installing the refrigerator with little clearance between the refrigerator and the surrounding objects
prevents the release of heat and thus leads to the waste of power.
5. Replace a damaged door gasket.
Cool air leaks through a damaged gasket, which leads to the waste of power. If a name card
inserted between the gasket and the refrigerator slides down, the gasket needs replacing.
