Troubleshooting
Frost and/or dew occur
Refrigerator cools overly
When this happens
Please check. This is the cause.
Check the usage of the refrigerator
●
Temperature in the refrigerator rises little by little while its door is open. If opening/closing the
door frequently or leaving the door open for a long time, temperature cannot easily lower.
→
Reduce the number of times of opening and closing the door or open/close the door quickly.
Frost and/or dew
adhere to the
refrigerator interior
or the frame
of the drawer
compartment.
Dew condensation
occurs in the
Refrigerator
Compartment
Dew adheres to the outside
of the refrigerator (exterior,
door seal, door and drawer
compartment etc).
Dew condensation
occurs in the
Vegetable
Compartment
●
The door or the drawer compartment may not temporarily have been closed completely.
→
Check whether the drawer compartment or the door has been closed completely after closing
them.
●
The door may be opened/closed frequently or door may have remained open for a long time.
→
Reduce the number of times of opening and closing the door or open/close the door quickly.
●
Lowering the level of the defrost heater, dew may be adhered to the rotation partition part when
humidity is high.
Pg.57
●
Dew may adhere to the wall and/or frost may adhere around
the outlet of the cooling air of the aluminum panel when
the number of opening/closing the door is large or humidity
around the refrigerator is high.
→
Wipe off them with a dry cloth.
●
Dew may adhere to the those parts when the indoor humidity is high (ex: rainy day).
●
Frost and/or dew may adhere to the refrigerator interior or the door frame when the warm outside
air comes in contact with those parts.
→
Wipe off with a dry cloth.
●
The humidity in the Vegetable Compartment is higher than other compartments. (To prevent
vegetables from drying and to make them last longer)
→
If it is undesirable that dew adheres to the stored vegetables, wrap them with the plastic fi lm.
●
Water may drop into cases placed in the Vegetable Compartment due to dew concentration.
→
Wipe off them with a dry cloth.

Foods freeze
●
"
強
" is selected in the temperature setting.
→
Switch it to "
中
".
Pg.40, 45
●
The surrounding temperature is lower than 5˚C.
→
Switch the temperature setting to "
弱
".
Pg.40, 45
●
Do not place any food in front of the cold air blowout port.

occur.
Ice cream
becomes soft.
Check the storage state of food
●
Does any food or package caught in the door prevent the door from closing
completely?
→
Check that there is not any space between the door seal and its contact surface
when the door is closed.
●
Is food squeezed in? or Is a large amount of food put in at a time?
→
Make sure that any food does not protrude beyond the storage height limit of each
compartment, and do not store the amount of food that may prevent the door from
opening and closing.
→
Allow clearance between each food in each compartment.
●
Are Upper Freezer case and Slimline slide case installed correctly?
→
Install them correctly.
Pg.50
Check the temperature setting
●
Refrigerator may not cool fully when the temperature setting is "
弱
".
Pg.40, 45
→
Switch the temperature setting of the compartment where it does not fully cool to "
中
" or "
強
".
●
Does the temperature around the refrigerator become high due to a seasonal factor (ex: using in
summer)?
→
Switch the temperature setting of the compartment where it does not fully cool to "
強
".
Check the installation state
●
Refrigerator may not fully cool according to the installation place, the clearance around it and the
surrounding conditions.
Check whether it has been installed correctly.
