Operating Recording Timer
• Notifi cation appears 20 seconds before recording starts.
• If Recording Timer is operated in standby mode, the TV starts up 1 minute before recording starts.
The TV returns to standby mode after the programme ends.
• You can stop Recording Timer by “Stop Timer Event” in Function menu.
About recording of external input
• HDMI input signal cannot be recorded.
• AV4 can be connected to equipment with either Component or Composite output.
Component input signal cannot be recorded so do not connect the cable to Component if recording is required from
AV4.
Confi rming, Changing, and Deleting of Recording Timer Setting
1. Press
FUNCTION
button.
2. Select “Timers” by using
button, and press
OK
button.
3. Select “Programme Timers” by using
button, and press
OK
button.
4. • To change the timer recorded programme, select the desired programme, and skip to 5.
•
To temporarily disable Recording Timer, press Blue button.
A check mark is omitted from the box.
•
To delete the timer recorded programme, select the desired programme, and press Red
button. Then skip to 6.
5. Select the items that you want to change by using
button, and press “Set”.

Timer Event History
You can confi rm the result of recording timer operation from “Timer Event History”.
1. Press
FUNCTION
button.
2. Select “Timers” by using
button, and press
OK
button.
3. Select “Programme Timers” by using
button, and press
OK
button.
Timer List is displayed.
4. Press Yellow button, and “Timer Event History” screen is displayed.
5. Icons appear at the top left of each lines.

: Recording is completed.
Ƒ
: Recording was cancelled from “Stop Timer Event”.
×: Recording did not succeed. There are some possible reasons for failure as follows:
1. Main Power switch was turned Off when start time of recording timer came.
2. Quick Timer Recording was in operation when start time of recording timer came.
3. There was no space left on the HDD.
4. The recorded channel was locked by Channel Lock when start time of recording timer came.
6. Press Yellow button again, and return to Programme Timers screen.
