6. In the Proxy Settings pop-up (XFigure 3-7X), type 169.254 .* in the Exceptions text box.
7. Click OK on all open pop-up boxes to close them. Internet is now ready to access the
SEC.

3.5.2 Deleting Saved Temporary Internet Files
To ensure the PC is working with the latest version of software it is necessary to delete any
files which Internet Explorer (IE) may have saved from earlier installations. Delete these saved
files using the following procedure. These temporary files can be deleted without causing any
problems.
1. Start Internet Explorer.
2. Select Tools > Internet Options (
