5.1.4. CLEANING THE LENS

Wear rubber gloves when cleaning the lens. The cleaning procedure is as follows:

(1) Make sure the laser is not starting up. Remove the key and disconnect the Laser Marker from

the AC power supply. (In any case, it is advisable to turn the system off during cleaning the lens).

(2) Fold the lens cleaning paper twice or three times, to avoid sharp corners.

(3) Gently rub the surface of the lens in a circular motion with the lens cleaning paper.

(4) Repeat this procedure (changing the paper each time) until the lens becomes clean.
