Basic Operation

Powering ON/OFF

After connecting the mains adapter to the unit and the mains socket,
•  Press the   Standby button to switch to Standby mode.
•  Press the   Standby button again to switch on the unit.
•  Press and hold the   Standby button to switch off the unit.
•  Disconnect the power cable of the mains adapter from the mains

socket if you want to switch the unit off completely.

While using battery power,
•  Press the   Standby button to switch to Standby mode.
•  Press the   Standby button again to switch on the unit.
•  Press and hold the   Standby button to switch off the unit.

Selecting Modes

Press the FM/DAB button repeatedly to switch between modes (DAB or

FM).

Adjusting the Volume

Turn the Scroll/Select dial clockwise/anticlockwise to increase/decrease

the volume.

Automatically Setting the Clock

The clock will be updated automatically if you can receive DAB/FM signal

in your location.
In order to synchronise to the current local time, you must leave it on the

DAB/FM station for a period of time.
