Hints and Tips
If a problem does occur, it may often be due to something very
minor. The following table contains various tips.
Problem
Cause / Solution
Poor FM
reception
t
Make sure the FM aerial wire is fully extended.
t
Electrical interference in your home can cause
poor reception. Move the unit away from them.
Poor AM
reception
Rotate the unit horizontally or reposition the unit
until the best reception is found.
Clock does
not show the
correct time.
There has been an electrical power interruption
and the backup battery is exhausted.
Check that the mains adapter is plugged in to the
mains socket and the unit.
Alarm does
not come on
at the preset
time
To turn on the
RADIO
or
BUZZ
alarm, check the
following points:

Is the current time correctly set on the time
display? Check the
ALARM
indicator.
t
Is the alarm time correctly set?
t
Check the volume level for Radio alarm.
t
To clean the unit, wipe the case with a slightly moist, lint-free
cloth.
t
Do not use any cleaning fluids containing alcohol, ammonia or
abrasives.
t
Do not spray an aerosol at or near the unit.
Ensure to unplug the unit from the mains socket before cleaning.
