SERVICE AND CHECKING FOR HARC70-CE1
6.2.
ACTION WHEN ABNORMAL
The following table indicates possible trouble-shooting upon the abnormal operation in unit.
Power source of HARC70-CE1 should be turned OFF, before starting of check.

Check if LED (POW) is lit.
Lighting OFF indicates that there is
possibility of the failure of internal
power source. Contact to your
nearest service centre.
Check if terminal screws are loosened.
Ensure to retighten the terminal
screws.
Check (PAC) for transmission display is lit.
Check the transmission circuit of
chiller unit by the self-inspection
function. And check the circuit if
transmission circuit of chiller unit is
operating normally.
Check if (IRP) for transmission display is lit.
Check the upper transmission
circuit by self-inspection function.
And check the circuit if transmission
circuit of upper equipment is
operating normally.

Despite of power
source is ON, there is
no apparent operation
in HARC70-CE1.
(No indication on
7-segment is shown)
Check if (IRP) for transmission display
is regularly blinked.
(1~2sec interval)
Lighting OFF indicates that there is
possibility of the failure of internal
power source. Contact to your
nearest service centre.
Check if the address of the chiller unit is set
correctly.
Address should be re-set with
referring to the installation
maintenance manual and
operation manual.
Check if transmission cable with chiller unit is
disconnected.
Connection of wire should be
examined.
Check if manufacturer’s specified transmission
cable connected with chiller unit is used.
Use Twist pair cable (0.75mm

).
Check if transmission cable connected with chiller
unit is wired along the power source wire.
Provide a space of at least 150mm
between wires.
Check if end terminal resistance and quantity on the
transmission cable between chiller unit and
HARC70-CE1 are set correctly with chiller unit.
Only one end resistance should be
set in one system. (Resistance
between wire is approx. 150
Ω
.)
Check if transmission circuit is operating normally
upon the self-inspection.
End resistance should be set to the
transmission wire of chiller unit.
Check if the power source of chiller unit is ON.
Chiller unit should be turned ON.
Check if transmission cable between chiller unit and
HARC70-CE1 are disconnected.
Connection of wiring should be
examined.
Check if (PAC) for transmission display is ON.
Check transmission circuit of chiller
unit by self-inspection. And confirm
if transmission circuit of chiller unit
is operating normally.

Despite of power
source is ON,
Apparently, none of
reaction is seen.
(It shows “11” on the
7-segment.) After
displayed “00” on the
7-segment with check
mode, the actual
Chiller unit quantity
shows unconformable
to address.
Check if LED (PAC) for transmission display is OFF.
Check transmission circuit of chiller
unit by self-inspection. And confirm
if transmission circuit of chiller unit
is operating normally.
