EXTENSION CORD

Use only three-wire extension cords that have three-prong grounding-type plugs and three-
pole receptacles that accept the power tool’s plug. Replace or repair damaged extension
cord.
Make sure your extension cord is in good condition. When using an extension cord, be
sure to use one heavy enough to carry the current the power tool will draw. An undersized
cord will cause a drop in line voltage resulting in loss of power and overheating. Table
below shows the correct size to use depending on cord length and nameplate ampere
rating. If in doubt, use the next heavier gage. The smaller the gage number, the heavier the
cord.

PARTICULAR PRECAUTIONS ON DEMOLITION HAMMER

demolition hammer should be followed.
1.

Use earplugs to keep your ears noise-free while working.

2.

Wear protective shoes to protect your feet.

3.

Properly set the bit holder.

4.

Always hold the body handle and side handle of the power tool firmly. Otherwise the
counterforce produced may result in inaccurate and even dangerous operation.

5.

Since the bit becomes very hot during operation, do not touch it because you are burnt.

6.

At the start of work, confirm the oil supply and screw tightening.

7.

When working at a highly elevated location, pay attention to articles and persons below.
