(3) Eyecup, Accessory Shoe, SAF Circuit Board, and L Block (Figs. 5-3-3, 5-3-4)
Eyecup (a)
1) Pull the EVF unit
2) Remove the eyecup in the direction of the arrow.
Accessory Shoe (b)
3) Remove three screws [B] and remove the acccessory shoe.
SAF Circuit Board (c) and L Block (d)
4) Open the LCD monitor.
5) Remove screw [A] from the top of L block.
6) Remove two screws [A] from the battery pack attachment platform.
7) Remove screw [A] from the rear of L block.
8) Remove two screws [C] from both sides of PC connection terminal.
9) Remove two screws [A] from the bottom of L block.
10) Open the L block from the rear in the direction of the arrow: Be careful not to damage the SAF
circuit board and flat cable (f) between L block and R block (e).
11) Disconnect the SAF circuit board between L and R blocks. The SAF circuit board is a film-like
board: Do not bend or fold it.
12) Disconnect the flat cable between L and R blocks.
13) Remove the L block from R block in the direction of the arrow.
