System configuration: Hybrid fiber optic cable mode
Optical system configuration
Attach the camera adaptor CA-HF1300-S3 to the camera head SK-HD1300, and also connect remote control unit
RU-1500 or setup control unit SU-1000 to the CCU CU-HD1300F-S3.
1. Sequence of AC power supply for camera
Turn on the CCU POWER switch of CU-HD1300F-S3, and then HFOC cable connection is automatically detected
(approx. 5 seconds after). If the cable connection is successful, the OK LED of CABLE CHECK lights and the
CAMERA POWER button can be turned on to supply the camera power.
NOTE: When the camera power is turned off and restarted, it takes approx. 10 seconds to enable the CAMERA
POWER button.

1. Camera stand-alone operation
By supplying DC12V power to the DC IN connector of CA-HF1300-S3 without optical cable, the camera works as
stand-alone.
In the stand-alone operation, camera video is output from MON output of camera head and HD-SDI1 output of
camera adaptor.
