Set the Alarm Timer

This unit can be used as an alarm clock. Ensure that you have set the clock correctly.
1. In clock mode, press and hold the TIMER/SLEEP button on the remote control until

[TIMER SET] (set timer) scrolls on the display.

2. Press

/

button on the unit or remote control to select DISC, USB, TUNER or DAB

as alarm source.

3. Press TIMER/SLEEP button on the remote control to confirm. The hour digits will show

on the display and begin to blink.

4. Press

/

button on the unit and remote control to set hour. Press TIMER/SLEEP

button on the remote control to confirm. The minute digits are displayed and begin to

blink.

5. Press

/

button on the unit and remote control to set minute. Press TIMER/SLEEP

button on the remote control to confirm.

6. Press

/

button on the unit or remote control to adjust volume. Press TIMER/

SLEEP button on the remote control to confirm. The icon wil show on the display.

Activate / Deactivate Alarm Timer

In the clock mode, press TIMER/SLEEP button repeatedly.
•

If timer is activated, the icon is displayed.

•

If timer is deactivated, the icon disappears on the display.

• The alarm timer is not available when the source is set as “AUX”.
• If USB is selected as alarm source but no device connected, the unit will switch to TUNER mode

automatically when the alarm is raised.

• If DAB is selected as alarm source, make sure the unit has good DAB reception.

Set Sleep Timer

This unit can switch to clock mode automatically after a set period.
1. When the unit is in on mode, press TIMER/SLEEP button on the remote control

repeatedly to select a preset period (in minutes).

SLEEP 120

SLEEP 90

SLEEP OFF

SLEEP 15

SLEEP 30

SLEEP 60

SLEEP 45

When the sleep timer is activated, the sleep icon “ z

Z

” will show on the display.

2. To deactivate the sleep timer, press TIMER/SLEEP button repeatedly until [SLEEPOFF]

(sleep off) shows on the display.

Adjusting the Volume

•

Turn the /– dial on the amplifier or press the / buttons on the remote

control to adjust the volume.

•

If you wish to turn the sound off temporarily, press the button. Press the button

again, or press the / button on the remote control or turn the / – dial

on the amplifier to resume normal listening.
