BookSense XT – User Manual
7. Radio
To listen to the radio on the BookSense XT, please connect earphones to the earphone jack.
You can listen to the radio if you do not connect earphones to the device, but the reception
will not be as clear. The earphones act as an antenna for the BookSense XT.
The features of the BookSense XT radio are:
You can listen to the radio via the internal speakers or earphones.
You can record the radio.
You can set 6 presets and move among the presets.
You can search next and previous frequency.
The frequency range of the radio that you can listen to is from 87.5 MHz to 108 MHz. Please
read this user manual before you start to use the radio feature.
7.1 Scanning to the Previous/Next Frequency
Press the LEFT button for more than 2 seconds to scan to the previous radio station.
Press the RIGHT button for more than 2 seconds to scan to the next radio station.
7.2 Moving to the Previous/Next Frequency by 0.1 MHz
Every time you press the LEFT button, the frequency will decrease by 0.1 MHz. If you press
the RIGHT button, then the frequency will increase by 0.1 MHz. If you try to scan for a radio
station, but cannot find one using the scan function, use this function to attempt to locate a
radio station.
7.3 Jump to Specific Frequency
You can input numbers and the decimal point using the keyboard on the Booksense to jump
to a specific frequency. To input a decimal point, press and hold the UP arrow for more than
2 seconds. Note: you can move to another specific frequency only if the input frequency
