7.2 Switching on 11
1. If the following equipment exists, also take this action:
WSJ 750-ET
WSJ 850-ET

Press the on/off switch.
▶
Then press the lockbutton.
▶
The on/off switch engages in the ON position.
▶
To release the lockbutton, press the on/off switch again.
2. If the following equipment exists, also take this action:
WSJ 750-EB
WSJ 850-EB

Use the sliding switch to switch the product on.
7.3 Plunge cutting 12
1. Set the orbital-action adjusting lever to position 0.
2. Bring the front edge of the base plate into contact with the workpiece.
3. Hold the product securely and press the on/off switch.
4. Press the product firmly against the workpiece and begin the plunge cut by slowly reducing the angle of
attack.
5. Once the blade has penetrated right through the workpiece, bring the product into its normal working
position.

The base plate then lies flat on the working surface.
6. Continue to saw along the cutting line.
8 Removal
CAUTION
Risk of injury! Inadvertent starting of the product.

Unplug the supply cord before making adjustments to the power tool or before changing accessories.
Observe the safety instructions and warnings in this documentation and on the product.
8.1 Removing the guard 13

Tilt the guard slightly and pull it off toward the front.
8.2 Resetting cutting angle
1. Slacken the screw.
2. Set the cutting angle to 0°.
3. Push the base plate back to its original position.
4. Securely tighten the screw.
8.3 Removing dust extractor 14
1. Pull the vacuum cleaner hose off the suction adapter.
2. Press the dust removal adapter down and pull it out of the product.
8.4 Ejecting the saw blade 15
WARNING
Risk of injury. Uncontrolled ejection of the saw blade can lead to injury.

When ejecting the saw blade, hold the product in such a way that it presents no risk of injury to persons
or animals.
▶
Push the saw blade ejection lever to the side as far as it will go.
▶
The saw blade will be released and ejected.
