The filter element is clogged with
dirt or dust.

Change the filter element.
The hose, vacuum cleaner or dust
hood is clogged with dust.

Clean the hose and dust hood.
The hose diameter setting is incor-
rect.

Set the correct hose diameter.
Dust is blown out of the appli-
ance.
The filter element is not fitted cor-
rectly.
▶
Remove the filter element and
refit it correctly.
The filter element is damaged.

Fit a new filter element.
The filter seal is damaged.
▶
Fit a new filter element.
The appliance switches itself
off or on inadvertently or the
user receives electric shocks
(static discharge).
Electrostatic charge is not
dissipated correctly; The
appliance is connected to an

Connect the appliance to an
earthed/grounded power outlet
and use an antistatic hose.
The appliance doesn’t start or

cannot be restarted.

carefully with a dry brush.
