securing a drilling system with auto-feed unit.
3.4 Bluetooth
®
This product has Bluetooth.
Bluetooth is a wireless data transfer system by which the two Bluetooth-enabled products can communicate
with each other over a short distance.
To ensure a stable Bluetooth connection there must be a clear line of sight between the connected devices.
Bluetooth functions of this product
• Service and status messages of the paired Hilti devices are shown on the display.
• Communication with the paired diamond core drilling machine in automatic drilling operation.
Switching Bluetooth on or off
Hilti products ship ex-works with Bluetooth deactivated. Bluetooth switches itself on automatically
during initial operation.

The Bluetooth ® word mark and the logo are registered trademarks and the property of Bluetooth SIG, Inc.
and Hilti has been granted a license to use these trademarks.
3.5 Display symbols in the multifunction display (when starting)
The following symbols appear on the display of the diamond core drilling machine as soon as the auto-feed
unit is started.

diamond core drilling machine".
Display Explanation
Devices are paired
Appears only when a new pairing connection is established between
auto-feed unit and a diamond core drilling machine.
Press the EMERGENCY STOP switch.
Reset the EMERGENCY STOP switch.
3.6 Display symbols in the multifunction display (normal operating status)
The following symbols can be displayed when the auto-feed unit is paired with the diamond core drilling
machine and the auto-feed unit is in normal operating status.
Other, context-sensitive messages can also be shown on the display. If a message not listed here
appears on the display, consult the "Troubleshooting" section.
