TROUBLESHOOTING
WARNING:
Warning
—Only authorized personnel should service The Vest® Airway
Clearance System, Model 105. Servicing by unauthorized personnel could
cause personal injury or equipment damage. Do not modify this device
without the authorization of the manufacturer. To do so could cause
personal injury or equipment damage.
Minimal routine maintenance and periodic cleaning are necessary for The
Vest® Airway Clearance System, Model 105.
Facilities should do these tests and examinations annually:
•
Unplug the Air Pulse Generator from its power source.
•
Examine the overall condition of the unit for damage or missing parts.
•
Examine the Power Cord and connector for cuts, scrapes, or other
damage.
•
Do the electrical safety tests in accordance with facility protocols.
•
Clean the unit (see “Cleaning” on page 67).
Connect the Air Pulse Generator to an inflatable garment and to an
appropriate power source. Make sure the unit is operational, and that all
the functions operate correctly.

1.
Make sure the Power Cord is securely plugged into the electrical inlet
on the rear panel of the Air Pulse Generator. If necessary, unplug the
Power Cord from the Air Pulse Generator, and then reconnect.
2.
Make sure the Power Cord is securely plugged into an appropriate
power source.
3.
If the problem still exists, contact Hill-Rom.

1.
If using the Remote Control, make sure it is securely connected to the
Remote Control Port on the front panel of the Air Pulse Generator.
2.
Make sure the Air Hoses are connected to the inflatable garment and
Air Pulse Generator.
3.
Make sure the
ON
button has been pressed.
4.
If the problem still exists, contact Hill-Rom.
