6.5 Recording Management
6.5.1 Configure Recording Schedule
Purpose
Video recorder will automatically start/stop recording according to the configured schedule.
Configure Continuous Recording
Step 1
Go to Configuration > Record > Parameter.
Step 2
Set the continuous main stream/sub-stream recording parameters for the camera. For
detailed steps, refer to 6.5.2 Configure Recording Parameter.
Step 3
Go to Configuration > Record > Schedule.
Step 4
Select recording type as Continuous. For detailed steps, refer to Edit Schedule.
Configure Event Recording
Purpose
You can configure the recording triggered by the normal event or smart event.
Step 1
Go to Configuration > Event.
Step 2
Configure the event detection and select the cameras to trigger the recording when event
occurs. For detailed steps, refer to 6.4 Event Configuration.
Step 3
Go to Configuration > Record > Parameter.
Step 4
Set the continuous main stream/sub-stream recording parameters for the camera. For
detailed steps, refer to 6.5.2 Configure Recording Parameter.
Step 5
Go to Configuration > Record > Schedule.
Step 6
Select recording type as Event. For detailed steps, refer to Edit Schedule.
