PRECAUTIONS REGARDING THE DUST-RESISTANCE AND WATER-
PROOFING FUNCTIONS
This product conforms to IP65 protection class ratings (dust-resistance and water-proo fi ng) for electrical equipment as
stipulated by the international IEC regulations. (When the battery is attached to the tool’s body, and the battery cover and
rubber cover are closed, the tool’s body alone meets the equivalent of the IP65 protection standard.)

Protection rating for water penetration
Water sprayed from any direction shall have no harmful e ff ect (water spray proof)
Protection rating for external assault by solid objects
Dust does not enter (dust-resistant)
The equipment has been designed to withstand the e ff ects of dust and water, but there is no guarantee that it will not
malfunction. Do not use or leave the equipment in locations where it is subject to excessive amounts of dust, or in locations
where it is submerged in water or subject to rainwater.
