2. Cleaning the fan

If there is dust on the fan

lter, hold the cleaner with the fan
fi
lter pointing downwards to keep
dust from entering the motor and lightly clean with a small brush such as a used toothbrush.

3 Inspecting
the
fl
ooring nozzle
Inspect
the
fl
ooring nozzle to con

rm that its blade is not dislodged. If the blade is
dislodged, press it in until it catches on the projection.
Using with the blade dislodged may cause stains.
When replacing the blade, insert it starting from the notch in the rail, and thread it along the
groove. Ensure there is no sagging throughout. (

4. Inspecting the mounting screws
Regularly inspect all mounting screws and ensure that they are properly tightened. Should
any of the screws be loose, retighten them immediately. Failure to do so may result in
serious hazard.
5. Maintenance of the motor
The motor unit winding is the very “heart” of the power tool.
Exercise due care to ensure the winding does not become damaged and/or wet with oil or
water.
NOTE
Regularly idle the motor to clean out dirt and dust.
Damage may result if dirt or dust collects in the motor.
