Hardware Installation
Set up the Enclosure:
1. Place the Enclosure on a flat surface.
2. Place physical drives in each disk tray (up to 4). Slide the locking
mechanism to the left; when the tab pops out, pull the disk tray out.
3. Place each hard disk in a tray as shown below. Then insert the disk
trays back into enclosure.
4. Connect the enclosure to both power receptacles.
Set Up the HBA
1.
Insert the included RocketRAID 2711 into an available PCIe 2.0 x8
or compatible PCIe slot on your PC/Mac motherboard

Connect the HBA and enclosure together with a mini-SAS to mini-
SAS cable (SFF-8088)
