1. Use a lower setting when toasting a single bread slice or slightly dry bread.
2. Use a higher setting when toasting fresh or whole wheat bread.
3. When toasting raisin or other fruit breads, remove any loose raisins from the surface of
the bread before placing into the toaster.
Caution!
Bread slices and parts of the appliance get very hot and stay hot for some
time after operation.
1. Do not use conductive tools, such as a fork, to remove toast from the appliance as
this may damage the heating elements.
1. If toast is lodged inside the appliance, lift the lever to raise the toast; If toast is still
lodged inside, press the CANCEL button and disconnect the power plug from wall
outlet.
2. Wait until the appliance has cooled completely.
3. Remove toast carefully and take care not to damage the heating elements.
Note:
For sliced bread specifically intended for toasting, we recommend setting the time
control dial to 4.
The thickness of the slice will directly affect the baking time, and the browning.
