Air flow through device
Air flow through the device (see also
– The fan takes in humid air, which enters the de-
vice through the air intake opening and a filter.
– At the condenser, the air is cooled and the re-
sulting water droplets are collected in the water
tank.
– Subsequently, the air is heated to approx. +5 °C,
by the evaporator and other powered compo-
nents of the device.
As air repeatedly passes through the device, the
humidity in the room is gradually reduced. This en-
sures fast and safe dehumidification.
Unless the integrated hygrostat is in operation, the
device runs continuously. The device can also be
fitted with an external hygrostat connected to a
socket.
The integrated hygrostat is only suitable for a rough
determination of the operating parameters. For ac-
curate room air moisture content readings, you must
use an external, calibrated measuring device.
Water tank
The condensate produced in the device collects in
the water tank. The device is automatically switched
off when the water tank is full.
To empty the water tank, follow the instructions in
The device cannot be operated with a correctly in-
stalled water tank.
