9. Installation guidelines
Installation regulations
The respectively applicable local building, fire protection, and employer's liability insurance
association regulations shall always be complied with for the installation of mobile air heaters
(WLE) with closed combustion chamber.
Installation locations
The units shall not be operated at locations, where ignitable gas-air or dust-air mixtures can
occur (e.g. gas stations, paint shops, etc.).
Floors and ceilings shall be fire-retardant. Intake and outblow fittings shall not be narrowed.
Installation rooms
1. Installation of the WLE in closed, well ventilated rooms with chimney connection:
a. The minimum room size shall correspond to a mean heat requirement of the installation
room of 0.058 kW/m³.
b. The fresh air supply required to ensure proper combustion shall be ensured in any case
(windows, doors, or other openings).

2. Installation of the WLE in closed, well ventilated rooms without chimney connection:
a. The minimum room size shall correspond to a mean heat requirement of the installation
room of 0.058 KW/m³.
b. Natural air replacement of 2.5 times the room volume/h shall always be ensured
(removal of combustion gases and fresh air supply).
c. At least the following openings are required for this fresh air and exhaust air volume:

Exhaust air: 2.8 m³
