Install a user supplied 2 A slow blow fuse in the positive line of the connection to the power source.

5.2 Configuring ALIGN with SPAN

Before configuring a CPT7700 ALIGN system, the both receivers should both be powered on and connected
directly between COM 2 of the CPT7700 and COM 2 of the second (rover) receiver through either a null
modem cable or an appropriate radio connection. Before configuring a CPT7 ALIGN system, the CPT7 must
be powered on.

COM2 is the default COM port for a connection between the CPT7700 and rover receiver for ALIGN.
If the default COM ports are changed using the

INSALIGNCONFIG

command, connect the COM

ports that are specified by the

INSALIGNCONFIG

command.

The rover receiver must be an ALIGN-capable model.
