WARNING
• DO NOT use this winch for lifting applications.
• DO NOT use this winch to transport people or animals
• DO NOT exceed the hauling limitation of the winch.
• DO NOT lengthen the handle for additional leverage.
• DO NOT alter this winch in any way.
• DO NOT operate this winch without at least one (1) wrap of webbing
strap around the winch drum.
• DO NOT allow hands to get close to moving parts of the winch including
drum, gears and webbing strap.
• DO NOT operate this winch under load without ratchet pawl engaged.
• DO NOT operate this winch if malfunctioning or damaged.
• DO NOT power operate this winch. Operate winch manually only.
• DO NOT allow people or situations to become a distraction when
operating this winch.
• DO NOT allow children to operate this winch or be around this winch
when operating.
• ALWAYS follow all instructions when replacing the webbing strap.
• ALWAYS secure the load after operating this winch. The winch is
intended for short term use only.
• ALWAYS use a secondary safety mechanism to secure the load after
using the winch.
• ALWAYS Inspect before every use. Do not use if damaged or if parts are
loose. Examine the winch for structural cracks, bends, damage, frayed
or worn webbing strap, and any other conditions that may affect the
safe operation of the winch.
Winch Overview
The OzWinch 316 Stainless Steel Marine Winch has been designed for safer, easier
boat loading and unloading. This winch is best suited for boat trailers and other
horizontal pulling applications which require the freewheeling feature of ratchet type
winches.
