5.1.2 Function schematic and Description

The system comprises of a heat exchanger (1) and a Pressure Temperature (PT) control valve
(2) which controls
the operation and temperature of the DHW system.
In the stand-by mode the heating primary water is kept at operating temperature via a thermostatic circulation
bypass valve (5). When a hot tap is opened, the PT controller (1) reacts to the difference in pressure and opens
the cold water inlet to the heat exchanger allowing hot water to flow through to the tap. The temperature of the
hot water that exits the heat exchanger (1) is controlled by the thermostatic head (3) which regulates the PT
controller (2).
