ELECTRICAL INFORMATION:
The HAVANA is supplied with a plug and is intended to be portable. It is not intended for permanent (fixed) installation.
Any extension lead used must have sufficient capacity to carry the current required by the heater and must provide an earth to
the heater. All plugs, sockets and switches intended for use outdoors must have an appropriate water ingress protection. Always
disconnect the heater from the power when not in use.

POSITIONING:
The Herschel HAVANA is a portable low power middlewave infrared heater designed for gentle heating of people in very close
proximity to it or under a table. HAVANA has a special coating designed to keep the surface temperature of the heater safe to
touch. However, be careful not to touch the surface of the heater during operation and let the heater cool down fully before
moving. If using under a table do not allow a table cloth to protrude over the sides of the table and cause a potential obstruction.
DO NOT COVER THE HEATER. KEEP THE HEATER AWAY FROM ANY COMBUSTIBLE MATERIALS.
The HAVANA has tip over protection and will switch off if it falls or gets knocked over. Place the heater on a firm level surface.
CAUTION:
•
Ensure mains power is OFF and the unit is cool before handling.
•
Heater must not be located immediately above or below a socket outlet.
•
Be careful to ensure that the mains power cable does not become a trip hazard and cannot be pulled by small children.
•
Do not leave the heater unsupervised.
•
Do not let children play with or touch the heater.
•
Do not use in rain or bad weather.
•
To avoid breaking the lamp handle the unit carefully.
•
Use the handle to move the heater and only move when the heater is off and has cooled down.
Storage: Store the heater in a cool, dry location when not in use to prevent dust and dirt build up. Use packaging carton to store.
