Computers running Windows 7: Accessing the shared printer

On the computers that will use the shared printer:

1. Click

Start/Devices and Printers

.

2. Click the

Add a printer

button.

The Add Printer wizard appears.

3. Click

Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth

printer

.

4. Windows then searches for the shared printers on

your network. Select the shared printer.

5. Click

Next

.

6. If necessary, accept installation of the printer’s

drivers when prompted to do so by Windows.

7. Validate your printer’s name, then click

Next

.

8. Tick the

Set as the default printer

box, if you

wish.

9. Click

Finish

to close the wizard.
