To install/remove battery pack (fig. 2 & 3)

WARNING:

Always removethebatterypackfromtheproductwhenyouare

assembling parts, making adjustments, cleaning, or when not in use. Removing the

battery pack will prevent accidental starting that could cause serious personal injury.
NOTE: Fully charge the battery pack before first use.

To install (fig. 2)

Aligntheribs ofthe battery pack

withthemountingslotsinthe

hedge trimmer’s battery port.
Press the batterypack down untilit

snaps into position.

NOTE:

Makesurethatthelatchonthe

hedgetrimmersnapsintoplaceandthe

batterypackissecuredtothetoolbefore

beginning operation.

To remove (fig. 3)

WARNING:

Alwaysbeawarefor the

locationofyourfeet,children,orpets when

pressing the battery-releasebutton. serious

injurycouldresultifthebattery packfalls.

Neverremovethebattery pack at a high

location.

Press the battery-release buttonthe

battery pack will disengage from the

latch.
grasp the battery pack and remove it

from the hedge trimmer.
