6-14. PILOT REPLACEMENT

Remove electrical power supplied to the unit.

Lower the control board (refer to the Control Board

section).

Remove burner tubes (refer to the Burner Tube Removal

section).

Remove the flame sensor wire.

Remove the two screws securing the pilot to the burner

assembly. The right hand screw will have the ground wire.

Disconnect the pilot wire located in the orange rubber

sleeve.

Using a 7/16” wrench, loosen the pilot tube from the pilot.

Disconnect the flame sensor.

Replace pilot in reverse order.

When screwing the pilot back to the burner assembly, be

sure to connect the ground wire to the right hand screw.
