Maintenance of the equipment
In order to ensure a correct operation of your equipment and a maximum lifetime, please respect the following
maintenance program:
The use of a high-pressure pump is prohibited. It is recommended to use a brush or a sponge and to rinse
eventually with a low pressure jet.
Do not use abrasive liquids or flakes of iron that could scratch the material.
Detergents, scouring powder, abrasive, diluents and all the products containing
chlorine are prohibited.
The cleaning and maintenance should be performed by
qualified professionals.
5.1
Cleaning of the machine (Twice a year)
Interior cleaning ;
Cut the power supply at the level of the electric box of the
equipment
Empty the equipment ( remove all the products in it)
Let the temperature rises slowly, leaving the doors closed to
avoid the condensation in the machine.
Remove the slide ways.
The cleaning inside the cabinet may be performed with
clear water
added by detergents compatible with stainless steel and
aluminum in particular.
The surfaces are then rinsed with clean
water. Trays, grids, slide ways can be washed just with water. If it is
necessary to enter in the cabinet, protect the bottom panels
Exterior cleaning :
Clean the surfaces with a non-detergent product.
5.2
Maintenance of the equipment (2 to 3 times per year)
Cleaning of the
air condenser:
Clean the condenser (« radiator ») disposed by the compressor.
It must be clean and free of dust. The cleaning is done by using
a brush.
Control of the oil’s level in the
compressor:
Verify the oil’s level in the compressor, and complete it if
necessary with adequate oil.
Control of the refrigerant charge:
Verify the refrigerant charge in the circuit, perform leak detection
and complete if necessary.
Visual inspection of the evaporator:
Remove the evaporator’s cover for a visual inspection of its
elements and to check if there is no frost.
Within the framework of the new standards concerning the cold stores, the leak detection of
refrigerant must obligatorily be carried out each year by qualified personnel.
