Preparations before using for the first time

• Remove all protective packaging and wrapping.
•  Check to make sure the appliance is undamaged. 

In case of incomplete delivery and damages. 
Please contact supplier (See == > Warranty).

•  Clean the appliance before use (See == > Clean-

ing and Maintenance).

•  Make sure the appliance is completely dry.
•  Place the appliance on a horizontal, stable and 

heat resist surface that is safe against water 
splashes.

•  Ensure that there is sufficient ventilation. Keep a 

minimum distance of 15cm around the appliance 
bottom of cookware

•  Do not place the appliance in close proximity to 

devices which are sensitive to disturbances by 
magnetic sources (e.g. radios, tape decks).

•  Keep the packaging for storing your appliance 

when not in use for an extended period of time.

Note: Due to manufacturing residues, the appli-
ance may emit a slight odor in the first few cycles. 
This is normal and does not indicate any defect or 
hazard. Make sure the appliance is well ventilated.

Cookware with a bottom thickness over 1.5 mm. Completely closed containers or cans.

Note: Using a pan or pot that’s not suitable for induction cooking may damage the appliance.

Operation

•  Place a suitable cookware at the centre of the 

heating surface of the appliance. (See --> Suita-
ble cookware for the appliance). 

    Note: Do not place empty cookware as this may 

damage the cookware.

•  Connect the power plug to a suitable electrical 

supply outlet.

•  Then, switch ON the appliance by turning the 

knob (2) in clockwise direction. 

•  “ON” will be shown instantly on the display (1). 
•  Next, choose the power level by turning the knob 

(2) clockwise. 

•  Minimal setting is 500W which increases in steps 

of 100 W to the maximum setting of 3500 W for 
item 239780 or 3000W for item 239315.

•  Now, the appliance starts heating operation. The 

set power will be shown on the display (1) during 
cooking.

•  After cooking finished, you can turn off the ap-

pliance at any time by turning the knob (2) an-
ti-clockwise. “OFF” will be shown on the display 
(1) for few seconds and then go off.

 Note: 
1).  After an extended period of operation, it is nor-

mal for the cooling fan inside to continue run-
ning in OFF mode for some time. Before unplug 
the appliance, wait until the cooling fan stops 
running.

2).  The appliance’s surface is still hot even after 

switch to OFF mode. Please wait the appliance 
completely cool down before touching or cleaning.
