Please note:
Do not use harsh detergents or abrasive cleaners.
Do not place any part of this appliance in the dishwasher.
Wipe the base with a clean cloth or paper towel.
Wash the water tank in warm soapy water using a mild detergent.
Do not immerse the base in water or any other liquid.
If the unit is to be moved or if it is to be stored for a prolonged period without being used, it is
recommended to drain the internal tank of any remaining water.
It is recommended that the unit is disassembled and cleaned periodically (every 2-3 months).
To Clean:
1. Remove the filter and remove the Unfiltered Water Chamber.
2. Wash the Unfiltered Water Chamber with warm soapy water.
3. Use a damp non-abrasive cloth to wipe down the outside of the unit. Do not immerse body of unit in
water.
4. Dry unit and parts with a soft dry cloth.
Sanitation:
1. Combine two tablespoons of baking soda (bicarbonate soda) with 2 Litres of lukewarm water into
separate jug or container and set aside.
2. Remove the Unfiltered Water Chamber and Filter Cartridge.
3. Pour mixture into Filtered Water Chamber.
4. Hold down the tap to ensure mixture fills the cooling tank. Leave for a minimum of 4 hours (ideally leave
overnight).
5. Drain out mixture then flush 2-3 Litres of clean water through the unit until it has been flushed clean.
6. Remove the Drain Plug (underneath unit) to drain any excess water in the cooling tank. This is
important to ensure all of the bicarbonate mixture is removed from the cooler.
7. With the drain plug still removed, pour 2 Litres of water through to remove any excess bicarbonate
mixture from the system. Reinstate drain plug.
8. Flush clean water through the unit and rain out via taps. Tilt the unit back and forth to remove trapper
water from unit.
WARNING:
Switch “OFF” power and unplug unit before cleaning. The filter cartridge should be replaced
every 150 Litres or 2 Months, whichever occurs first. This ensures filters perform as stated. If water has
been left sitting in unit for more that 3 days, discard water and flush out unit.
