Troubleshooting
•
If the display fl ashes or a fl ashing letter appears, the voltage of the tested battery tested is too low for the
test (< 8 Volt). Fully recharge the battery and repeat the test.

The “conn” message means that one of the connections is not correct.
Remove the clamps and reconnect them. Move the clamps forward and backward to make sure that a
proper contact is achieved.
•
If the red LED (replace the battery) is lit during a battery test in the vehicle, this could also mean that there
is a faulty (loose) connection between the battery pole clamps and the vehicle. Loosen the clamps and
repeat the test on the disconnected battery.
