4.3.2 Variant 2: Installation on wall
m
Risk of injury due to the unit door falling downetür!
The unit door can fall down when removing and cause serious injuries.
> Wear protective footwear.
> Carefully remove the unit door with both hands.
1. Loosen and remove the four screws in the unit door.
2. Remove sealing strip.
m
Risk of injury due to the high weight of the heat exchanger!
The heat exchanger can fall down and cause serious injuries when removed from the unit.
> Wear protective footwear.
> Carefully remove the heat exchanger from the unit with both hands.
3. Remove the heat exchanger from the unit.
4. Insert locking part and insert up to stop in the mounting part incl. sealing ring (see Fig. 34).
5. Attach mounting part to the wall with provided screws/dowels (see Fig. 35).
The position of the wall attachment must be selected to ensure a sufficient gradient to the condensate con-
nectors (cf. Fig. 43)!
6. Connect siphon casing and turn a 1/4 turn in the mounting part (see Fig. 36 and Fig. 37)
Ensure that the float ball is loose in the casing!!
Installation on unit:
7. Insert the provided T-shaped handle in the groove of the counter screw (see Fig. 38).
8. Pull the provided seal onto the counter screw (see Fig. 39).
9. Insert counter screw through the unit base tray from above (see Fig. 40).
10. Tighten condensate connectors to the counter screw thread from below (see Fig. 40).
Only tighten counter screw by hand and do not overtighten! The plastic can break!
11. Aligh condensate connectors in the desired position (see Fig. 41).
12. Insert the condensate hose (DN 12 mm; not included in delivery) in the hose connector on the siphon casing and
tighten by hand.
Water damage in the unit due to condensation.
A closed discharge can lead to pressure conditions which prevent controlled drainage from the unit. Furthermo-
re, gases may escape from the drainage line into the unit, which may create a breeding ground for microorga-
nisms in combination with moisture.
> The condensate hose must end 20 mm above the open drain or possible water level (see Fig. 32).
> The condensate hose from the ball siphon must have a downward gradient, openly dripping into a funnel
siphon and must not be discharged into a closed system (see Fig. 43).
13. Connect condensate hose (length max. 1.5 m) to the building drainage system (see Fig.
